Seth,
For zone there isn't any difference between the two. If you switch over to Paleo then you would want the Almond.
On Paleo the peanut is in the legume category which is on the do not eat list because of the health problems that they are associated with such as inflammation.

As far as Zone numbers, almond butter is the same as peanut butter. The difference is that almond butter is Paleo-friendly; peanut butter isn't because peanuts are technically legumes rather than nuts. Not a huge difference, but if you're shooting for Paleo then almond or sunflower seed butter is the way to go.

Question for you Zone Junkies.....
I bought some Almond butter (and its quite tasty), but comparing the label to that of Peanut Butter, I don't see the benefit....What am I missing?
