Definitely start working those ring push-ups...
So gymnastics tip 1.0...If you find ring dips or ring pull-ups, or ring push-ups harder than bar dips, or bar pull-ups, or a standard push-up.
You have NOT been spending enough time on the rings. Begin by working on your static hold, then progress on to working ring dips, ring pull-ups (I rarely have seen this worked on, but ring pull-ups will pay dividends for your muscle up progress, try them in the "false grip"), front/back lever holds, ring push-ups of all kinds.
As your body learns to stabilize itself on the rings, you'll find your ratio of "ring" stuff to "bar" stuff pretty darn close to 1 to 1.
