Ray Lawson

I have been involved with Crossfit for
two years now and I believe it to be the best overall fitness program
that I have been exposed to.
I was a four year high school varsity wrestler and State Championship qualifier in Oregon and Nevada and a collegiate soccer player in southern California. From 1994 to 1999 I served in the Navy as a Aircrew/Rescue Swimmer. During this time I was able to compete and represent the Navy in all of the HI-TEC Adventure Racing Series races held all over the United States..
After my enlistment I returned to Los Angeles and worked as a L.A. County Sheriff Deputy in a Supermax Jail Facility. In 2003 after a four year break in service I affiliated with the Naval Reserve and served as a Door Gunner in HCS-4 and HCS-5, the only two Navy Helicopter Squadrons dedicated to Navy Special Warfare Combat Support. Having the opportunity to deploy on two tours to Iraq putting SEAL Teams, and Army Special Forces on target only reinforced the importance of maintaining peak physical fitness.
Having a Military and Law Enforcement background I truly believe that achieving and maintaining peak physical fitness is a cornerstone to your mental wellness and job survival.
Regardless of your occupation or athletic background I am dedicated to help you reach your training goals each and every day.
